A pedestrian walking signal featuring a same-sex couple. Beautiful isn't it this simple imagery? We all just want a hand to hold when we cross the street.
Alleyways full of history. This one was on the way to visit Mozart's old apartment. Vienna is so well preserved.
One of the most memorable meals we've ever had. Tafelspitz is Viennese boiled beef in a broth served with root vegetables and fried potato rosti. Our favourite part? Spreading the bone marrow on toasted black bread and seasoned with salt and pepper. We had this at Plachutta.
Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. What is spectacular about Vienna is that all the buildings have maintained its grandioseness.
Vienna is a majestic city full of history in every corner.
Schönbrunn Palace is worth a visit. Not the most spectacular palace we've ever seen but it is a major stop on the bus route if you buy the Vienna Pass, which we highly recommend by the way. The most memorable part of the palace is actually the more "mature" couple ahead of us in line who couldn't take their hands off each other. It's still something we look back on today and laugh at. See? The city is romantic.
We love the charm of the city. The horse & carriage may be a little touristy but it doesn't feel like it because the city looks like it never aged.
As with many other European cities, the bike share system is great to take advantage of, especially in a city like Vienna. It's not a huge city and many of the main sites are concentrated in one area.
Taking a swim in one of the many lakes around Vienna. It was surprisingly not cold at all. It wasn't warm either but was actually very refreshing.
Attending one of the many operas held in the main Opera House is a real privilege. Just remember to get tickets in advance.
Vienna Cityhall is an impressive classical building with a great public plaza in front of it where many activities take place during summer time.
Selfie time in Schönbrunn Palace :P
Definitely one of the best city views from the top of one of the Cathedral towers. If you decide to take the south tower get ready to take some steps!
